How to tell if your device has overheated

If your device has overheated, flashing white lights will help you realize that your IQOS is out of its usual operating temperature range.

The correct operating temperature range is between 0°C and 40°C for IQOS ILUMA devices.

Depending on the device you are using, IQOS will warn you that it is out of the temperature range:

• IQOS ILUMA Pocket Charger: the bottom light of the pocket charger flashes white;
• IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA ONE Pocket Charger: lights flash white 2 times ;

Additional tips to avoid IQOS device overheating:

Do not use, charge or store the IQOS ILUMA in places with high temperatures.

Do not touch the IQOS ILUMA and/or its accessories if they become hot, generate sparks, emit smoke, catch fire or burn. If applicable and possible, switch off or disconnect the power supply with extreme caution.

Do not expose the IQOS device to high humidity or direct sunlight.

What to do if your IQOS device does not work from overheating:

IQOS devices are not designed to operate outside standard temperatures. Therefore, should your device fail to turn on or function properly because of prolonged exposure to sunlight, or other heat sources, the warranty will not cover this type of damage.
